Before/After Pics

Rochelle had a classic case of  inflamed acne (pustules, cysts). She was desperate to get her acne under control. She had been suffering for 10 years and had tried everything including lasers.  I started off using a very strong antibacterial treatment in order to get her inflammation under control to avoid acne scarring. She came in every two weeks and followed my nutritional guidelines. Her acne cleared up after 5 months following my protocol to the letter.  She now comes in every 5 weeks for in-office routine skin therapies.

This client had a combination of inflamed and non-inflamed acne. She was taking Accutane, then started to lose her night vision. She knew her side effects would worsen.  She found me from an ad on Craigslist. She was in tears by the time she came in for her consult. I knew I could help her. She was consuming a lot of soy, her skin care products contained many pore clogging ingredients, and her shampoo was breaking her out along her neck. With the right nutritional protocol, and weekly in-office visits, I was able to get her on a road to recovery just before her 10th high school reunion. This is after 6 weeks of weekly visits, that included LED therapy, strong enzymes, weekly peels and aggressive home care regimen.

This client is of Asian decent, has a family history of acne. She had been fighting with her acne for 12 years. I met her while shopping at Wholefoods :) by my office.  She complimented me on my hair and the conversation led to what I did for a living.  She actually followed me to my office, and had her first treatment that day. Her skin was irritated, she was using an over the counter cold cream, and was on a high androgen birth control pills.  With an adjustment to her diet, a combination of sulfur and LED (she is allergic to benzol).  I was able to get her clear in 6 months. I took the gentler approach with her therapies because her skin was very irritated. She received a lot of enzymes with hydration treatments along with a combination of lactic and mandelic acid peels.

Saundra has had acne since she was 13. She was referred to me by her sister. She had spent thousand of dollars on microdermabrasion, laser treatments and over the counter products. When she brought in her products I was amazed to see that her Dermatologist had given her Retin A in the cream form. The cream formula is not for acne-prone skin. Plus the microdermabrasions were worsening her acne, and she also suffered from PIH (post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation). Darker skins do not do well with microdermabrasion.  I got her on a protocol for non-inflamed acne, she has grade 2 acne, the thoughest of them all. She cleared in about six months then we focused on lifting her dark spots with a combination of Vi Peels and TCA/Salicylic acid combinations. She got married this year, needless to say she was a confident bride :)
